The Israeli military has said that a soldier died yesterday, while three more were seriously injured.
The deceased, a member of the 551st Brigade’s 699th Battalion, succumbed to wounds received two weeks ago in combat in northern Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.
The UN reports that 104 Israeli soldiers have been killed and a further 582 injured since the start of the ground invasion of Gaza, citing official Israeli sources.
It is not known if the latest casualties are included in that total.
