The Israeli army says it has airdropped seven tonnes of equipment to hundreds of troops operating in the Khan Younis area of southern Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.
A video posted on X by army spokesperson Daniel Hagari shows a C-130J transport aircraft dropping the equipment.
Hagari said this was the first time that the army has airdropped equipment since the 2006 Lebanon War.
