Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee has announced “urgent instructions” for the people of Gaza in a post on X.
“To the residents of the northern Gaza Strip: We urge you to evacuate your places urgently and head through Salah al-Din Road towards the known shelters in the Deir al-Balah area between ten o’clock in the morning and four o’clock in the evening,” Adraee said.
A “temporary tactical suspension of military activities for humanitarian purposes” would also take place in Rafah camp within the same timeframe.
Adraee warned that Salah al-Din “constitutes a battlefield” and warned against the movement of civilians in the sections north and east of the city of Khan Yunis.
