Afrah Al-Zoubah, the managing director of the Executive Bureau for Acceleration of Aid Absorption and Support Policy Reforms, has said that the people of Gaza now need “unprecedented” humanitarian aid and that we should be worrying about implementing a ceasefire rather than focusing on aid.

“This is a place where everyone is a target and there is a huge possibility that the aid will never reach them [if the attacks continue],” she told Al Jazeera.

“If the killing of innocent continues, it means we are opening an appetite for further aggression in other areas and other countries.”
