‘It’s the Middle East, it’s warmer here’: Israeli official on Palestinians being stripped to their underwear in Gaza

Mark Regev, a senior adviser to the Israeli prime minister, has commented in an interview with Sky News on Palestinian detainees in Gaza stripped to their underwear by Israeli forces.

He said: “It’s the Middle East and it’s warmer here. And especially during the day when it’s sunny, to be asked to take off your shirt. It might not be pleasant, but it’s not the end of the world.”
