DERA ISMAIL KHAN: More than 800 polling stations will be established in Dera Ismail Khan district for the upcoming general elections scheduled for Feb 8.

This was stated by speakers at a seminar organised by Election Commission in connection with National Voters Day here on Thursday. They urged people to participate in the elections to strengthen democracy in the country.

The speakers advised people to get themselves registered as voters and cast their votes in their respective localities on the polling day.

They said the event was meant to create awareness among people about the importance of vote.

They said people should cast their vote according to their conscience to elect honest representatives.
