United Nations says getting incoming loads of aid has been significantly hindered over the past three days by several factors including a shortage of trucks within Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.
Some of these trucks were stranded in the central area which has been severed from the south.
The telecommunication blackout and the increasing number of staff who are unable to get to the crossing due to bombardment have caused problems for the UN.
