Gaza’s government media office has said the Israel military campaign has killed at least 16,248 people in the strip since October 7, revising up an earlier toll provided by the health ministry, AFP reports.
In nearly two months of fighting, over 7,000 children and nearly 5,000 women have been killed in Gaza, the media office has said in a statement.
