“You cannot be neutral in an unfolding genocide,” renowned climate activist Greta Thunberg and Fridays for Future Sweden have said.

In a column in The Guardian, she and three other climate activists responded to criticism over the movement’s stance on Palestine: “Contrary to what many have claimed, Fridays for Future has not ‘been radicalised’ or ‘become political’.”

“Demanding an end to this inexcusable violence is a question of basic humanity, and we call on everyone who can to do so. Silence is complicity,” the piece stated.
