Strike observed in Gadoon Amazai areas

SWABI, Feb 19: A complete strike was observed in Gadoon Amazai’s Zaida and Gandaf localities in protest against the publication of sacrilegious cartoons by some European newspapers.

Protesters also staged two demonstrations in the same localities.

Traders, political leaders and people from different walks of life took part in the protest.

The whole bazaar remained closed till the filing of this report. The demonstration was addressed by a federal council member of PPP Parliamentarians, Khanzada Abdul Hafeez Khan, UC Nazim Abdul Qadoos Khan, Anjuman-i-Dokandaran’s district president, Gul Haider, Maulana Abdul Malik and others.
