Congresswoman Ilhan Omar calls cancelling of Mehdi Hasan’s show ‘deeply troubling’

Reacting to reports of journalist Mehdi Hasan’s show being cancelled, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has said that it is “deeply troubling” that MSNBC was doing so “amid a rampant rise of anti-Muslim bigotry and suppression of Muslim voices”.

“Anyone who cares about free expression should be concerned,” she said.
