The spokesperson of Gaza’s Ministry of Health has said hundreds of people needed to receive treatment in hospitals outside the bombarded territory.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, the spokesperson said that Israel controls the path of medical aid entering Gaza and the volume of medical aid hospitals received did not reach the desired level.
“We need to evacuate hundreds of wounded people out of the Gaza Strip to save their lives … We demand the protection of the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip so that it can function,” the spokesperson said.
