Dawn staffer grieved

LAHORE, Feb 17: Mrs Waheeda Mahmood, 58, passed away here on Friday. She was the wife of Mahmood Zaman, special correspondent, Dawn, Lahore. She suffered serious injuries in a train accident near Jhelum last month. She was initially admitted to a military hospital there and later shifted to the Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore, where she expired on Friday evening. Her funeral prayers will be held after Zohr prayers on Saturday (today) at the graveyard of Iqbal Avenue, opposite Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
