Average number of displaced Palestinians per shelter surpasses 9,000: UNRWA

The United Nations agency for Palestinians says the average number of displaced people per shelter has surpassed 9,000, resulting in significant level of overcrowding given that the standard shelter capacity is 2,000 people.

“UNRWA shelters in Gaza strip is hosting 4 and a half times more people than intended capacity,” it wrote on X.
