In the past few hours, there haven’t been any reports of Israeli air strikes or artillery shelling, or any attacks by Hezbollah, Al Jazeera Lebanese reporter Zeina Khodr said.

“The Israeli-Lebanon border was not mentioned in the agreement between Israel and Hamas. But we have been told by Hezbollah as well as the Israeli army that both sides will respect that truce,” Khodr reports.

“But the concern here in Lebanon is what will happen after the four-day pause in the fighting. The Iranian foreign minister was in Beirut this week and said that if the ceasefire doesn’t hold, he expects an expansion in the region. The Israeli defense minister has also said that after the pause, the conflict will resume.

“So there is a lot of concern that if this ceasefire is not extended or some sort of permanent deal is not guaranteed, then we can see more fighting that could spread deeper into Lebanon,” the reporter said.
