As people hear the news of the arrival of a ceasefire, they are rejoicing, and there is even a sense of relaxation among Palestinians, Al Jazeera reports.

Some people in Khan Younis want to go back to again to their houses in the eastern area of the city, from which they have previously been informed by [Israeli] forces to flee to more central areas.

They are waiting for a full guarantee that this ceasefire will remain for a full four days … People in Gaza see this as a good opportunity that will pave the way for a long ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.
