White House spokesperson Adrienne Watson has said final logistical details for the release of hostages in Gaza are being worked out, Reuters reports.
“That is on track and we are hopeful that implementation will begin on Friday morning,” Watson said.
The Israeli government has announced that the release of hostages under a temporary truce between Israel and Hamas will not happen before Friday, dashing the hopes of many.
