PTDC motels

ISLAMABAD: The Privatization Commission Board on Friday approved inclusion of 24 motels and restaurants of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) in the privatization list.

The board which met under the chairmanship of Privatization and Investment Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh also decided to extend the date to submit EoIs for National Power Construction Company (NPCC) in view of the increasing interest of investors in the transaction.

It also reviewed the bidding arrangements for Pak-American Fertilizers Limited to be held on Feb 28 here.

The meeting was informed that the privatization process of SNGP and SSGC was progressing and international players in the oil and gas industry were showing keen interest in the transactions.

The board also reviewed the status of various ongoing and upcoming transactions and expressed satisfaction over the implementation of the decisions taken in the earlier meeting.
