Gaza Health Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra has said the occupancy rate in hospitals across the enclave has reached 190 per cent as medical facilities in the north remain completely out of service.

Israel bombed al-Shifa Hospital and destroyed parts of it, he told Al Jazeera.

He said about 120 people were evacuated from the Indonesian Hospital — fresh target of the Israeli forces — to Nasser Hospital. “The Israeli army has put those inside the Indonesian Hospital in a circle of death,” he stated.

Al-Qudra further stated that there are over 400 injured people still inside the Indonesian Hospital in addition to 200 medical staff and over 2,000 taking refuge. “The Israeli army is targeting anybody who moves around the hospital or inside it,” he added.

“The Israeli army is still besieging al-Shifa Hospital where over 700 people are still held captive. It has become a graveyard for everyone inside it,” the official told Al Jazeera.
