Israeli forces have given doctors, patients and displaced people at Al-Shifa Hospital an hour to evacuate the medical compound, Al Jazeera reports citing a medical source.

Earlier in the day, officials at the hospital confirmed the loss of 40 lives, including four premature infants, since November 11, attributing the deaths to a critical shortage of electricity exacerbated by the ongoing Israeli military offensive.
