Fifteen countries and states have filed comments in the International Court of Justice in the advisory proceedings pertaining to a probe into Israeli actions in Palestinian territories.

In a statement, the ICJ said the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the League of Arab States, the observer State of Palestine, Jordan, Qatar, Belize, Bangladesh, the United States, Indonesia, Chile, Egypt, Algeria, Guatemala and Namibia had filed their comments before Oct 25.

The ICJ, on an “exceptional basis”, authorised Pakistan’s comments that were filed on Nov 2, after the time-limit to do so had passed.
