Israeli tanks surrounded more than 100 patients and medical staff at al-Hilu Hospital in Gaza City, Al Jazeera reports.
Its administrative director called for Israeli forces to provide a safe route for emergency evacuation.
“The situation is difficult in the hospital and we used rainwater for sterilisation,” he said. “There is no fuel or water in the hospital, which has now turned into a maternity hospital only.”
