At least 10 people, including children, were killed in latest Israeli airstrikes on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, Palestinian news agency Wafa reports.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera says several people were injured after Israeli warplanes hit the residential buildings belonging to the al-Agha and Abu Gemayzeh families in the eastern part of the city of Khan Yunis.

The severely injured are being treated at Nasser Hospital, but doctors are struggling to treat the victims due to the shortage of medical supplies and mechanised ventilators, according to a separate Al Jazeera Arabic report.
