ISLAMABAD: A girl was murdered under unexplained circumstances in her house in the area of Bhara Kahu, police said on Saturday.

The police said the incident took place in a house, located in the area of Huzaifa Town. The police said that her father said that he heard some sound from the roof of his house and when reached there he found the roof’s door locked from outside. He came outside the house to inquire and went to the rear side of the house, where one of his neighbours informed him that he spotted two men running away from his house, they added.

In the meantime, his wife found her younger daughter missing and informed her husband about it, the police said, adding that somehow they reached the room of their daughter and found her body lying in a pool of blood with a bullet injury.
