Fabrizio Carboni, Middle and Near East regional head of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Crescent, says the situation at al-Shifa Hospital “cannot continue like this” as he reacted to the “distressing” information that is coming out of there.
“The information coming from the Al Shifa hospital is distressing,” he said in a post on X.
“It cannot continue like this. Thousands of wounded, displaced people and medical staff are at risk. They need to be protected in line with the laws of war.”
