DERA MURAD JAMALI: Four people, including two women, were gunned down and seven others injured in three firing incidents in Nasirabad district on Friday.

Police said unknown armed men barged into a house in Jamal-Wah village of Notal area and opened indiscriminate fire, killing a woman and her daughter.

After receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to the district hospital.

“The mother and daughter received multiple bullet injuries which caused their instant death,” hospital officials said, identifying the deceased as Robina Bibi and Salma.

The assailants escaped from the site after killing the women.

Police said cause of the killing could be an old enmity and an investigation was underway.

In another incident taken place in Jhand area, one person was killed and seven others injured in armed clash between Bugti and Bhangar tribes on the issue of land dispute.

Officials said armed men from both sides took position and opened fire on each other using automatic weapons. The firing continued for over an hour, resulting in the killing of one person and injuries to seven people from both sides.

Police shifted the body and the injured to Dera Murad Jamali district hospital.

The man killed was identified as Mir Jan Bhangar whose son Ghulam Hussian was injured in the

clash. Other injured included Jaffar Bugti, his two sons Mohammad Hayat Bugti and Sohbat Khan Bugti, Mohammad Qasim Bhangar, Shah Mohammad Bhangar and Abdul Karim Bhangar.

In the third incident, one person was gunned down by armed men in Domki town of Dera Murad Jamali. He was identified as Sojala Khan. The attackers escaped after firing. The cause of killing could not be known.
