BAHAWALPUR, Feb 14: Islamia University students continued their protest on Tuesday against the killing of their fellow by dacoits on Monday, and blocked traffic on Baghdad Road and the DIG Chowk.

The students who had announced protest for three days to mourn the death of Tauseef Younas, went towards the old campus from the Baghdadul Jadid campus by buses. As they reached Sadar Pulli, they blocked traffic by parking their buses on road. Then they marched towards the DIG Chowk where their leaders addressed them.

Later, the protesting students met vice-chancellor prof Dr Bilal A Khan and demanded early arrest of the killers.

Meanwhile, DPO Arif Nawaz told by telephone that two police teams had been set up for investigation. He hoped the murder mystery would be resolved soon.
