Rs200 million approved for project

MARDAN, Feb 14: The District Development Committee has approved Rs200 million for various development schemes under the annual development programme and the special package of the NWFP chief minister for the district.

A meeting of the DDC was held at the office of District Coordination Officer Khalid Hussein and attended by the finance and planning department officials and others.

The meeting approved Rs117.05 million for the upgradation of Rural Health Centre Takhtbai, Rs30 million for various development schemes from the special package of the chief minister, Rs1.09 million for the providence of power supply in various villages and Rs6.02 million for the development of agriculture sector in the district.

The meeting also approved funds for the construction of a funeral place in Shahbaz Garhi and some other development schemes.
