ISLAMABAD, Feb 14: The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) will assist Pakistani businessmen in setting up restaurants in Bangladesh.

This was stated by DCCI President M.A. Momen in a meeting with officials of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) here on Tuesday.

During a visit to the Melody Food Park, the delegation was received by Sarfraz Haider, President Food Park Traders Association, and ICCI President Abdul Rauf.

Mr Momen praised the quality of meal of Melody Food Park and its management.

The Dhaka chamber will fully cooperate if Pakistani businessmen intend to establish restaurants in Bangladesh whereas investment will also be safeguarded, he offered.

ICCI President Abdul Rauf said, “we had planned to arrange a dinner in a five-star hotel but later we decided to introduce our local traditional dishes to our distinguished guests for which we arranged dinner in Melody Food Park.

The Melody Food Park is a gift for citizens of the federal capital for which he hailed the CDA efforts.

He announced that Bengali dishes will also be introduced in Melody Food Park in the near future.
