KARACHI, Feb 13: Mohammad Hafeez struck an undefeated 137 to power Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to a crushing seven-wicket win against KRL in the Patron’s Cup Group ‘A’ fixture at the NBP Sports Complex on Monday.

Chasing 273, SNGPL romped home with seven overs to spare with Hafeez, the former Test opening batsman, blasting 12 boundaries in his 164-ball knock.

Earlier, Saeed Anwar also hit a century to help KRL reach 272 for six in their 50 overs. The left-hander’s 140-ball 111 was laced with seven fours and two sixes.

Mohammad Farrukh also batted well to make 89 off 123 balls with 11 boundaries. Saeed and Farrukh put on 167 after KRL lost two wickets for three runs.

Paceman Sajid Ali claimed five for 43 in 10 overs.
