Gaza’s interior ministry spokesperson, Iyad al-Bazum, has stated that Israeli forces are presently located on the main section of Salah al-Din Street and are making efforts to access al-Rasheed Street, which runs along the Gaza coast, Al Jazeera reports.

“The occupation forces seek to separate the northern Gaza Strip from its south,” al-Bazum said.

Israeli forces are trying to enter the besieged enclave from northwest Gaza, and their vehicles could be seen in the al-Karama area, he added.
