IAPH team visits PQA

KARACHI, Feb 13: A two-member delegation of International Association of Ports and Harbour (IAPH), led by its secretary general Dr Satoshi Inoue, on Monday visited Port Qasim.

The delegation also met PQA chairman Vice-Admiral Asad Qureshi and appreciated the various operational aspects and facilities at the port and offered PQA to become member of the IAPH. Briefing the delegation the PQA chairman said that the port handled 40-45 per cent of the total cargo and assured them of joining the IAPH in near-future.—APP
