NAWABSHAH: Pakistan Peoples Party-Parliamentarians chief and former head of state Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting of notables of his tribe from Nawabshah and Sanghar at Zardari House here on Sunday.

He discussed with them the party’s position in the two districts and its strength in all provinces of the country.

He told his fellow tribesmen that PPP would sweep the upcoming general elections across the country.

A press release issued by the party, however, said that Asif Zardari met party workers at Zardari House and listened to their advice regarding politics and upcoming general elections.

It quoted Zardari as telling the workers that they were the actual strength of PPP and that the party had always stood with them.

He asked the workers to spread the message of party among masses. Former MPAs Ali Hasan Zardari, Ghulam Qadir Chandio, Saleem Raza Jalbani and other notables including Abdul Sattar Keerio, Jam Tamachi Unnar, Chaudhry Javed Arain and Ashiq Zardari were also present, the press release added.
