Death toll in Gaza crosses 8,000

The death toll in Gaza since Oct 7 has increased to 8,005, Al Jazeera quoted the Palestinian health ministry as saying. Those killed include 3,342 children and 2,062 women

The ministry said the number of injured persons has reached 20,242.
