NOWSHERA, Feb 12: Pakistan Muslim League president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday said that the PML had adopted a clear stand on the Bajaur incident, Hangu blast and the publication of sacrilegious cartoons by some European newspapers.

He was speaking at a public meeting here on Sunday.

The former prime minister said that the PML had always worked for the integrity and sovereignty of the country, adding that the party’s role to defuse conflicts in Waziristan and Balochistan was widely known.

He criticized the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal leadership for posing as the sole champion of Islam and said the PML would never hesitate to sacrify for the country’s integrity and for the supremacy of Islam.

The meeting was organized at Al Jameel House on the occasion of joining of the party by Mian Yahya Shah Kakakhel, Mian Rahim Shah Kakakhel and others.
