KARACHI: Two killed in accidents

KARACHI, Feb 11: Two men died in separate road accidents at various places here on Saturday. Police said that Imran Khan, 22, a motorcyclist, was hit by a coach on main university road in Aziz Bhatti police limits. The youth died on the spot and his body was shifted to a hospital for autopsy. The driver of the Gul Coach tried to speed away, but a police mobile van intercepted the vehicle and arrested its driver Khalid.

The police have impounded the coach and registered a case against the driver.

A 45-year-old man, Asghar, died when he was hit by a speeding vehicle in Defence Housing Society. The body was shifted to a hospital for autopsy while the police could not locate the vehicle responsible for the accident.
