Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Ghassan Abu Sitta, who was helping treat patients at the Al-Ahli Hospital when the deadly air strike took place, has shared how the lack of medical supplies is hindering treatments.
He shared a photo on his X account, saying that he had to use “vinegar from the corner shop to treat pseudomonas bacterial wound infections”.
“It’s come to that,” he added.
