TOBA TEK SINGH: A minor girl missing for a day was found dead in Faisalabad on Wednesday.

The body was found in the bushes outside her village, Chak 269-RB, Baranwala, near Dijkot.

According to the Dijkot police, an FIR was registered on Tuesday on the complaint of Imran Khan under section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code. He said his daughter Mehak Fatima had gone out to play in the street and was kidnapped. The entire village searched for her in fields and houses throughout the night, and on Wednesday morning, a passerby found her body in the bushes.

The body was taken to DHQ hospital.

Villagers staged a demonstration demanding the immediate arrest of the killer and blocked traffic on Samundri Road for one hour.

Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken notice of the killing and called for a report from the police..

A Dijkot police official said a few suspects had been taken into custody for interrogation.

ACCIDENT: A teenage boy died, and another was critically injured after their motorcycle collided with a rickshaw in Faisalabad, Bilal Nagar Chowk, on Millat Road.

The deceased was identified as Zain Ali and his injured pillion Irshad Masih was shifted to the Allied Hospital.

KILLING: A young man died, while his wife is in a critical condition after they both allegedly ingested poison to commit suicide in Faisalabad, Chak 203-RB.

According to Mureedwala police, Muhammad Umair had a property dispute with his parents, over which, he quarrelled with other shareholders. He and his wife, Saadia Bibi, simultaneously took rat-killing pills. When their condition started deteriorating, they were rushed to the Faisalabad DHQ Hospital where died.

As of this report, the woman has not regained consciousness.
