ISLAMABAD: At the special invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will be visiting China to participate in the 3rd Trans-Himalaya Forum for International Cooperation, being held in Nyingchi, Tibet autonomous region, from Oct 4 to 5.

The Trans-Himalaya Forum, established in 2018, aims to foster enhanced collaboration among regional nations on geographical connectivity, environmental conservation, ecological preservation, and the strengthening of cultural ties.

During his stay in Tibet, FM Jilani will address the opening ceremony of the Trans-Himalaya Forum. He will also meet regional dignitaries including the deputy prime minister of Mongolia and interim foreign minister of Afghanistan.
