The six other victims, who were hit by cylinder’s splinters and also caught in fire outside the shop, were referred to the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) and a major hospital in Karachi.

Reports reaching here from the hospitals said that two of the injured victims, Mr Burhan and Kamran Manganhar, died during treatment at GIMS; and two others, Amjad Channa and Liaquat Jamali, succumbed to their injuries in the Karachi hospital on Monday.

According to sources, the number of injured persons is said to be higher as some more victims of the incident were reportedly under treatment at different hospitals in Sukkur and Karachi.
