Change in schedule

LAHORE, Feb 3: The first Pakistan-India hockey series match will be played in Chandigarh on Feb 17 instead of Jalandhar after a change in schedule.

A spokesman of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) said on Friday the change had been made to avoid extensive travelling in India.

Pakistan will now cross Wagha border on Feb 15 for their onward journey to Chandigarh to play two matches on Feb 17 and 18 under lights. Jalandhar will host the third match on Feb 20.

There is no change in the schedule of the second leg in Pakistan. Rawalpindi will host the first match on Feb 22, Faisalabad on Feb 24 and Lahore on Feb 26.
