Two MPAs among 83 booked after raids

NAWABSHAH, Feb 3: The Nawabshah police have booked 83 persons, including two MPAs, in 21 different cases relating to breach of the Pakistan Petroleum Act of 1971. Nawabshah judicial magistrate-III Ali Gul Khaskheli on the directives of a district and sessions judge raided dozens of petrol stations in the Nawabshah city on Thursday night and found quality of petrol and handle measurements unsatisfactory.

The petrol stations were Faiz, Ghafoor, Nawabshah, Shell, Razzaq, Azeem, Hussain, Mohammad Ali, Jam, Jamali and Ghulamullah. Police lodged 10 FIRs at the taluka police station against Fahad Shah, Faseeh Shah, Khan Mohammad, Jamna Das, Mohammad Hanif, Mohammad Saleem, Bhagwan Das and others.

Three FIRs were lodged with the B-section police against Rao Khalid, Mohammad Yousuf, Akhtar, Abdul Karim, Chaudhry Rahim, Nooruddin and others.
