ISLAMABAD, Feb 1: Japanese Embassy here on Friday chalked out an extensive programme to celebrate the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Japan. The celebrations will start from April 2.

Among the various functions, the embassy also intends to hold a photographic exhibition in which photographs portraying the friendly relations between Japan and Pakistan during the past fifty years will be displayed.

The embassy has invited all photographers to delve into their archives and submit relevant photographs to the Press, Information and Culture Department of the Embassy.

They have been asked to especially cover inauguration ceremonies of development/industrial projects set up in Pakistan with Japanese assistance, Japanese cultural events, and any other pictures that portray the friendly relations between Japan and Pakistan during the period 1952-1988.—PPI
