SWAT: Two girls died and four other people sustained injuries in separate incidents here on Saturday, the police said.

Mingora police officials said roof of a house owned by Rahmat Gul collapsed in Amankot area, burying three women alive. They said people from the neighbourhood pulled them out and shifted them to the Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital, where a girl, identified as Fatima, was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, two people were buried when roof of a house collapsed in Chupriyal Bulkarai area of Matta tehsil.

Rescue personnel and the local people recovered two injured persons from the debris and shifted them to the Matta Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Both of them were reportedly out of danger.In another incident, a young girl drowned in a water tank in Chupriyal area of Matta. Two-year-old Ayesha was playing near the tank when she fell into it.
