Punjabi, Urdu declamation contests

LAHORE, Feb 1: The Fatima Jinnah Medical College and the Government College for Women, Wahdat Road, on Friday lifted the trophies of inter-collegiate Punjabi and Urdu declamation contests, respectively.

The competitions were held as a part of co-curricular activities week being celebrated at the Lahore College for Women.

In Punjabi declamation contest, FJMC’s Ambreen Akram was declared winner while Kiran Shujah of the Government College for Women, Samanabad, ended as runner-up. FJMC’s Salsbeel Haider remained second runner-up.

In Urdu declamation contest, Anika Haider of the Government College for Women, Wahdat Road, stood first. The second and third positions were secured by

Ayesha Tehseen of the Government APWA College and Ambreen Ikram of the FJMC, respectively.
