NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Two persons were killed in targeted attacks here on Friday, the police said.

They said that in the first incident, unknown assailants shot dead a senior employee of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, Zarbat Khan in Eidak area of the district. They added that Khan was targeted near Harmaz village.

The police also said that Khan’s son, Waqar Khan, president of Youth of Waziristan, was also killed a year ago.

In another targeted attack, the police said 23-year-old Museeb Khan, a resident of Ipi village, was killed by unknown gunmen.

The police said that the bodies were shifted to Mir Ali hospital. They said that both the cases were being investigated.
