KARACHI, Feb 1: Four ships carrying soyabean meal, crude oil and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, APL Pusan, Eax Sanctity, to unload and load containers, Iron Butterfly to offload and load general cargo and Shalamar to unload crude oil.

Six vessels, Yang Jiang He, Ever Guard, Swat, Victorious, Stella Terza and Uni Tank departed on Wednesday, while Global Prospeity, PAC Antlia, APL Pusan, Irene, West Old, Felizi, Agios Nektraios, Shalamar, Hyundai Sprinter and Thor Captain are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 95,094 tons comprising 19,763 tons of export cargo and 75,331 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Johar, with crude oil, Iran Sattari and Kota Waruna, with containers and Mercs Ruhunu, with 2,775 tons of soyabean meal.
