KARACHI, Jan 31: The state visit of King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz will further promote and strengthen the existing cordial relations between the two brotherly countries.

This was said by the Consul General of Saudi Arabia in Karachi, Dr Hassan A Attar, in a statement on Tuesday. He said friendship between the countries was exemplary one.

“No doubt, special bilateral relations that link the two countries has led to an excellent cooperation in all vital fields and positively reflects on the people of the two countries,” Dr Attar remarked, adding that these relations had manifested themselves in many situations.

The latest, he said was when Pakistan was hit by the devastating earthquake and the government of Saudi Arabia rushed to provide all possible help to the people of Pakistan.

In addition, the government of Saudi Arabia had asked the Saudi people to donate generously for the quake victims.

Dr Attar further stated that the visit of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz would further fortify the economic and commercial cooperation between both countries and would open new horizons for the business community and investors.

He said the visit would create a suitable environment to encourage joint ventures in both countries.—APP
