KARACHI: Two found dead

KARACHI, Jan 30: Two unidentified bodies were recovered in different parts of Gadap town on Monday. The body of a young man in his mid-20s was found at a derelict place in Nagori Society. The victim bore five bullet wounds, police added.

The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for postmortem examination.

Police suspected some personal enmity as a possible motive behind the killing.

In another incident, body of another unidentified man was found in Murad Memon Goth in Gadap Town. Police said that the victim bore no apparent signs of injury or torture. His body was sent to JPMC for postmortem examination, police added.

DIES: A police official of the Special Branch, who had received injuries in an attack on him in Liaquatabad two days back, succumbed to his wounds early Monday morning. He was admitted at the JPMC.

Police said that Ayaz Shaikh, head constable in the political wing of the Special Branch, suffered multiple bullets near his residence in F C Area Liqauatabad. The attackers managed to escape after opening the fire.

KILLED: A woman was killed by unknown persons in DHA. Police said that the body of Ms Tabusum was found in her house in Khayaban-i-Rahat on Monday.

Police said that a domestic servant was missing along with some valuables from the house. According to the initial investigations, the domestic servant is suspected to have committed the murder.

Some valuables, comprising some cash and gold ornaments, are also said to be missing from the house.
