RAWALPINDI: Two women and a man were stabbed to death in separate incidents in Kallar Syedan on Tuesday night.

Initial police and rescue reports suggested that a suspect entered a house and attacked the inmates, killing a man and a woman and injuring another person.

Shortly after the incident, the emergency service staff reached the crime scene and shifted the injured to the hospital.

However, the bodies would be taken to the hospital after necessary paperwork was completed by police and forensic experts.

According to the police investigating officer, two separate incidents took place. In the first incident, a man and his wife were murdered while in the other, a woman was killed while her father was injured, the officer said.

He said it was too early to disclose the details of the incident as investigations were underway.
